Not a long par 4 on the card but 2 good shots are required to find the sanctity of the green.

The tee shot will need to find the fairway and be short of the water to leave an uphill second shot to a raised and protected green. A par 4 will be a welcome start.

Do not be deceived by the length of this hole, a new and challenging par 3 opening in Spring 2017.

Playing into the prevailing wind to a well protected green, anything missing to the right may well end up wet, miss it in the left hand bunker and a tricky shot awaits. Middle of the green and 2 putts is the safe play.

Not a long par 4 but a good lay up short of the ditch will leave a medium to short iron to an inviting green.

One of the flatter greens on the course leaves a good chance of holing a putt once on the dancefloor.

Quite a unique 90° dogleg to the right, Longer hitters may be tempted to take the corner on but beware, anything dropping short is out of bounds. There is still plenty of work to do once finding the green, 3 putts are as common as 1 putt! No surprise it is the Men’s Stoke Index 1.

A good tee shot of 230 yards will leave a medium to long iron down to a sloping green.

Another long par 5 played as a sweeping dogleg from right to left around an established copse of trees.

Two good shots are required to leave a tricky approach to a downhill green. Leaving an uphill putt is your best chance of making a score, anything short or to the side needs plenty of care.

Long and demanding par 4 of 478 from the medals. Longer hitters will consider taking on the ditch to leave a medium to long iron approach.

Shorter hitters may consider playing it as a 3 shot hole. Playing as a par 5 for ladies this will be the same approach and most are happy to walk off with a 5.

Great par 3, a picturesque tee shot played from a disused railway embankment to a green situated well below. Plays into the prevailing wind making club selection difficult with a small pond and 2 bunkers adding to the drama.

If safely negotiated the green is fairly flat and leaves a good chance of a 2!

Once you have refreshed in the halfway house back out to another par 3, it may not look the toughest of holes but par is always a good score.

The front of the green is well defended by two bunkers and anything to the left of centre will normally run off to the side.

A mid length par 4 that plays a lot longer than the yardage. Pick the club to leave you just short of the fairway bunkers and you will have an uphill approach of around 150 yards.

Playing for the middle of the green should leave you a hole-able putt wherever the pin is located.

The final and shortest of the par 3’s but don’t be deceived by its length. Again played from the disused railway embankment but onto a plateau green making club selection vital.

Although the green is large a tee shot to the left of the flag will generally leave the easiest putt.

The toughest tee shot on the course, long and straight is required to leave the green in range, the fairway bunkers to the left will leave an almost certain lay-up.

With the approach shot make sure you take plenty of club to clear the 2 bunkers protecting the front of the green. Downhill putts can be swifter than they look on this hole and a par is always a good score.

A reachable par 5 starts the finishing stretch of holes. A good drive down the left half of the fairway will leave the best line in for longer hitters. Going for the green the ground will feed the ball in from short left.

If playing as a traditional 3 shot hole then laying up to the right of the Oak tree leaves a nice angle to attack the flag. Any uphill putt is a potential birdie.

Remodelled and opened as a Par 5 in April 2016. A new greens complex situated beyond a water feature makes this a real risk / reward Par 5. The longer hitter has to negotiate a fairway bunker and position their tee shot down the left half of the fairway to leave an option to carry the water and reach the well guarded green in 2.

Average hitters will have the option of a comfortable lay up to 140 yards or thread past a second fairway bunker to leave a shorter approach of 80 yards. A hole that can play differently each time you tee up, par is always a good score.

Short par 4 but well defended. Longer hitters will be tempted to go for the green but beware the two greenside bunkers that attract your ball.

A safer play leaves 50 – 80 yards in for a second shot, the flat looking green contains a few subtle breaks but a definite birdie chance.

Another short par 4 measuring just over 300 yards, again the option to go for the green is on from the downhill drive.

Miss left or right and you may wish you had laid up. Playing a long iron off the tee takes trouble out of play and leaves a short wedge in to an uphill green, an inviting second shot certainly gives a chance of birdie.

A truly stunning finishing hole, gently sweeping from right to left and playing slightly downhill. When the prevailing wind is following the option of the grandstand finish is on.

To go for the green in two you will need to carry a pond and thread your way between the trees protecting the approach on both sides and the greenside bunker. A lay-up will leave a mid to short iron into a framed green. Best be short of the flag if you want to walk off with par or even birdie.
